Distance learning, or distance education, is related to courses taken at a distance. Mostly this refers to programs taken online. But, some distance learning programs have a component of on-campus residency. When the program is a graduate school, especially when it is a doctoral program, the requirements for on-campus residency are more likely.
The Graduate Student Social Network is a social media site with forum, blog, photo directory and link directory. Members post their articles, discussions, their photos and their school’s or businesses’ URL. Posts tend to be about members’ experiences at distance learning programs.
